"He was a true Renaissance man.
CTE took that away. It robbed him of everything."

Through an unprecedented personal lens, we bear witness to the rise and fall of University of Texas football player, Greg Ploetz. After winning a college championship, he stepped away from the game to pursue his dreams of becoming an artist. As an accomplished and prolific painter, he lived his life to the fullest as a loving husband, father, and teacher for 40 years after he left football. All that began to change as he battled CTE, the degenerative dementia caused by brain damage from playing football. This documentary tells of his journey, and seeks to educate others about the price he paid long after playing college football.

Greg's Story has been chosen as a finalist for the Women In Film Mini Upfronts.
