Originally from Austin, TX, writer/producer Meg Dudley graduated with honors from Simmons College in Boston with a degree in Political Science and International Relations, and promptly decided NOT to be involved in politics. At least in a traditional way…

Cutting her teeth in production in New Orleans and now living in Los Angeles, she has spent the last decade working on feature film and TV productions ranging from microbudget indies to studio blockbusters, as well as at the studio level for Netflix, Fox, Disney, National Geographic, and Blumhouse TV.

As an independent writer and producer, her feature film FISHBOWL is currently streaming on Amazon Prime, and was executive produced by writer George Pelecanos (THE WIRE, TREME, THE DEUCE). She has been Oscar qualified with four award winning short films, and has a documentary in development.

Meg also writes and performs stand up "comedy" that is very difficult for her parents to watch.

In the fall of 2021, she will join The American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles as a Screenwiritng fellow.
